Tennessee State School Bond Authority

The Authority is delegated the responsibility for issuing bonds and notes to provide funds (1) to make loans to state institutions of higher learning to construct income-producing facilities and (2) to make funds available to the Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation for student loans under the Guaranteed Student Loan Program. The Authority is also responsible for the administration of the Qualified Zone Academy Bond program for the State.

As of June 1, 2006, the Authority's outstanding debt for Higher Education Facilities program was $465,589,266.80 in bonds and $129,046,000 in commercial paper. The Authority's Qualified Zone Academy Bond program outstanding debt was $57,210,000 in bonds. The paying agent information for debt issued in certificate form is as follows:
